Oh, well I’m a guitar player🤣 but thanks for the feedback maybe I’ll actually try to play it well, and I could even add the rest of the piano parts to the song; yeah, I just went and listened to the piano solo by itself, it sounds like a video game, really an approximation of somebody falling on the piano, trying to play the solo. I played it on the GarageBand interface on my iPad, single, take without any edits. Could definitelyredo that and try to improve on it. Would help if I had an actual keyboard.

@@ninepeaks Did you have any references while making this? Or did you go off memory?

For the harmonies I would have used the “Misery Beatles Rock Band custom song preview” video to visually see the harmonies. I actually learned harmonies through Beatles Rock Band the visual of them really helped me

I will take that as a compliment thank you! My voice is thinner than Lennons. Particularly as I am 40 years older than he was when recording this :-) thanks for watching and listening and loving the Beatles.

Thank you! There’s actually a little bit of echo on this drum track, but I didn’t want to mess with it too much because somebody else had isolated it from the original recording and I assumed that the original recording would have all the effects necessary but maybe I overdid it, so I just added more echo, and a little more reverb too, and then cleaned up some of the other overall effects and it does sound much better. Thank you.
